We were to meet Mar'rha in Shadowmoon Valley of our broken homeworld. A grim reminder of power that fel magic can bring if it isnt controlled. I arrived at the gates and within moments Mar'rha appeared. Darmok & Bagatru followed, along with Krolmar and Kazragos.
Fel Lightning crackled in the sky above as the rain began. I asked Mar'rha if she was sure the second soul stone was inside. She was certain and is rarely wrong about this kind of information. She said a gluttonous goblin has taken refuge within the temple walls.
As we made our way, a group of fel guards appeared and began attacking, we had triggered a portal trap, and Argarish was not around to aid us in closing it. We managed to slay the demons; but just as more were about to exit the portal we noticed a hole in the temples walls, it lead to the sewers. We had to get that stone, even if we were going to get dirty. The rain didnt help matters as the run off into the sewer brought the water up to our waists. our decent through the sewers was slow, but that was when we took notice of the naga. Just as in the blasted lands, reafrimming what Agiskka had told us.
Mok'Rell was not going to make the same mistake twice, this time he had many protecting his stone. Treking threw the sewers was exhausting, especially for those in plate armor like Bagatru. We had made out into the court yard. I sent Bagatru and Marrha ahead to scout. I had heard a shout, it promised us a slow and painful death. A portal opened behind us and the gluttonous goblin Mar'rha spoke of appeared, along with a twisted looking orc warlock. It would seem that demon Marizach had returned in a new body. Marizach made a number of threats towards us, claiming that our lands would burn. Mar'rha even tried to attack, her blade sank deep into the goblins back, but she was blasted by fel energy back down into the sewers.
It would seem the orc that came along has gathered up the remaining members of the Shadowmoon clan in the area, but before we could attack Marizach tossed us a stone...Mokrells soulstone. claiming not to need it anymore. The two escaped jumping on the backs of there demonic flying mounts. Krolmar and Kazragos gave chase. They told me that a battle ensued, but I am not sure what else happened. Darmok retrieved the soulstone while Bagatru checked on Marrha.
Upon returning to camp, we had handed the second soulstone over to Ter'rala, one of the few clan warlocks who had not gone missing. It only took her a moment to realise that whatever power or soul the stone once contained is gone. She spent days with it before returning to tell us that the soulstone's power had been absorbed. This must be what Marizach meant when he said he didn't need it anymore. It also meant that Mok'Rell was weakened, and would remain in hidding, at least for the time being.
