*Continues after 'A Sorcerer & His Stones'*
It has been over a month since we destoryed one of Mok'Rell's soul stones that was hidden within a giant magnaron in northern GorGrond. Each day our clan continues to inch closer to putting an end to this nightmare.
A week ago Darmok, Krolmar, Marrha, Bagatru, Sarakah, Gromthak, Garashi and myself had travelled to the blasted lands in search of answers. Agiskka had finally returned to us after disappearing months ago. She said she was captured and held prisoner in some cave within the blasted lands.
As we traveled south into the Blasted Lands we discovered a cave that matched the discription that Agi had given us. It was protected by fearsome Naga Sorcerer's, however, Marrha and Sarakah had managed to sneek in undetected and confirmed our spiciousions. Bagatru, Gromthak and I charged in while the others continued south. Inside the cave Gromthak found a necklace that once belonged to the high shaman. Bagatru then discovered what appeared to be a portal crystal. A device the warlock used to easily access his lair. Clever.
We met up with the rest of our clan in what can only be described as the tainted forest. Everything was twisted, warped by fel magiks, and demons were everywhere. It seemed for every one demon killed 2 more took its place. Exhausted as the sun began to set behind the mountain range we found our clanmates. A massive stone alter had been erected with dozens of skulls of all different races scattered about. Garashi had taken notice that some belonged to pale orcs from alternate Dreanor, but Mok'Rell and his allies were nowhere to be found.
Gromthak had pointed out a spellbook that was open on the alter, I suspected it was trapped, perhaps a magikical hex placed upon it. There wasnt. I was saddened however when I realised who the spellbook belonged to. Nokita, one of my trusted overseers. He had been using her magiks to fuel his power. While I looked at the fadded pages of the book, Darmok discovered a hexxers charm. It was something Nokita kept on her to empower her spells when the time came. Its magik power was gone, I had hoped she fought to the bitter end.
I had ordered the clan to leave no stone unturned in order to find any trace of where Mok'Rell had been. I mounted up on my trusted worg and took Marrha & Garashi and met up with Kainka. Together we traved north to Stonard, there was someone there I wished to speak with.
We arrived in Stonard the following night, having spent the day traveling, I had hoped to speak with Chieftain of the Darkscar Clan Malzogg. He and his sister Maliris were familar with blood magiks. When we arrived however we were greeted by a half ogre, Grellock; he had a peon take our worgs, so that they may rest, and asked us to join inside for a feast. Apperently there was much to be discussed.
A massive feast of fish and produce was served, as much as I hate playing "politics" they honored us by offering it. While we ate it was silent, Mar'rha was paranoid as usual while Garashi would have a single bite then begin sharpening his swords.
I had asked Grelock when Malzogg and Maliris would be joining us; since there was much to talk about. We were informed that in the recent months the Darkscar Clan had been nearly wiped out, they refused to tell me how, but did say that Malzogg and his sister were no longer part of the clan.
Grellock however wished to continue the tenuous alliance our clans had, even offering to send what few scouts he had to track Mokrell. He seemed to think that the warlock can easily be defeated; but if he wishes to throw more lives away then so be it.
After taking what we could from the Blasted Lands we returned to our camp within the Barrens, our supplies had been drained, and that often meant it was time to make a trip to Orgrimmar. How I hate that city.
